Rent: USD 2000 per month two-bedroom, in a residential area near commercial area

Utilities: USD 50 for light, 10 USD for gas

Transportation: subway transportation very cheap and adequate. Other public transportation sucks.

Food: monthly spend USD 500, for a couple in a supermarket.

In general the cost of living is expensive.

Default Venezuela Currency

Hey Suarez, I did a quick search and found some information about converting the BsF.

Venezuela's current currency is now the Bolivar fuerte (BsF) also called (VEF), this took the place of the old Bolivar in 2008.

The rate from Google Currency converter stands at 1 VEF = 0.2329 USD.

So 80,000 BsF would equal 18.6320 USD.

Hope this helps, heres a link to the Currency Converter - Google Finance
