Rent: $150 per month for a 2 bedroom NOT in the city center but in a very nice neighborhood very close to the center.

Food: $10 per day (Cooking good meals at home).

Utilities: less than $50 per month. (Electricity, gas, and water)

Subway: About $0.10 and street buses are about $0.25 (the exchange rate is very favorable to the US Dollar)

My advice: Learn Russian and do NOT live in Kiev!
