Rent _ depends on which part of the city, It's a big city. Also depends on when you rent it.

Mine is at Moda_At the asian coast, 1000 Turkish Liras (2 bedrooms + 1 saloon )

1 ticket for bus is 1,4 TL. some areas are with 2 tickets

token for boat is 1,4 TL.

We usually use Akbil which called intelligent ticket for daily travel.

There is a very rich vegetable and fruit choises Also traditional food cuture is very high.

Bread is 0,8 TL.

Chicken 4,25 TL./kg

Fruits 1- 8 TL./kg

vegetables .50-4 TL./kg

white cheese 9 TL/kg

a dozen of eggs 6 TL./kg....

Health care depends on your choice private ones are expensive but local dispensary is cheap

cinema ticket for one 12,5 TL.

car rental starts from 40 TL./day

dog shower 30 TL.

vaccination of dogs 35-50 TL.

a glass of beer at a bar 2-6 TL for an expensive club 15-20 TL.

club entries for students changes but you can find good programs at 15 TL. for non students this price is 25-30 TL. for expensive night clubs prices can rise to 100 TL. or more.

A cup of tea and simit beside the bosphorus, watching the doves and ships is priceless......

Living İn Istanbul is cheap. Its a wonderfull citiy .

Electricity : 70 TRY = 30 Euro
Food Costs : 500 TRY = 240 Euro
Health Care : 100 TRY = 40 Euro
Education : 700 TRY = 320 Euro
Wearing : 150 TRY = 70 Euro
Gas : 100 TRY = 45 Euro

This is for three people family a month cost ( incl 1 student )

1500-2000 Euro will be enough for a good life
