Costs of living in Madrid, SPAIN

rent - 2625 euros for a 4 bdrm house in town small garden approx 2200 sq ft

utilities approx 500 euros per month which includes natural gas heating, electricity, phone line,

food 700 euros per month, food is important to us, so we probably spend more than most but 6 eggs are anywhere between 1,20 to 2,65 euros depending on whether they are bio or not

Private healthcare is included in our work contract so it is free and really good, but even the social medicare is great and free... drugs are heavily subsidized by the government.

transportation: 1 month buspass is 42euros

-Rent: 1200€, for three bedroom, two bathroom

-Utilities: roughly 30-50 a month.

-Transportation: 90€ gasoline every month.

-Food: This is so very variable depending on how much you eat out versus how much you eat in, and it is arguable that eating out might actually be cheaper than eating in...but again, all so dependent on your lifestyle. I probably spend 800€/month for food and going out (4 members family)

Default tuition spain (tasa)

the tuition for university in spain is rather low, but it depends on the type of organization, public or private and many schools are run by the church. Basically you can say that for most master courses the fees are between 20-30 euro per ECTS ( the points you get per course) in a year you have 60 ECTS so the total fee ( or tasa en spanish) is around 1200-1800 for a fulltime course/year. And still the public universities provide quality education. Private can go up to 10.000/ year
