We live on a small holding of approx 6000m2. We are 3 km from the town centre, and close to the highway. 30 mins to Johannesburg, 30 mins to Pretoria. We are a family of 4 (Mom Dad and 2 kids) and 3 dogs and a cat!

Electricity : R1300 per month

Food : R6000 per month

Medical Insurance: R4000 per month

Education (Private): R7000 per month - if you want a decent education, you have to go private.

Utilities (water) : R400 per month

Petrol : R5000 per month - there is no public transport, so we each have a vehicle.

HP vehicle : R3500 per month - this is on an average small car.

Eating out we do accasionally, costing between R100 and R150 per person.

Phone bill: Mostly around R500 each per month - we have no landlines, so only cell phone connection.
3G : R300 per month for 5 G B.
