I'm very privileged to live in the center of lisbon at a low cost. I bought a 75 years old apartment and fully restored it to a 100 square meters, 3 rooms apartment with a back yard. I pay a mortgage of about 400€ to the bank every month plus around 60€ for gas, water and electricity combined used by two eco concerned people.

We spend up to 300€ every month (divided by two) on supermarket and dinning out and I have an health insurance with full coverage at 40€ a month.

With a paycheck of 1100€/month times two, we're pretty comfortable and can save up to 500€ a month each.
