- Rent: USD 2500 per month for an upscale 1 bedroom apartment overseeing Manhattan Skyline and Statue of Liberty

- Utilities: USD 65 per month for electricity (Heating, Cooling, Cooking). Water, Sewer, Garbage, etc. is included in rent.

- Food: USD 800 to 900 for two persons. This includes everything you usually buy in a supermarket: Food, Soap, Detergent, beverages, cat food, etc.

- Transportation: USD 100 per month (subway and occasional taxi ride.)

- Recreation: USD 50 for membership in the Gym in my building

- Eat Out: USD 500 we eat out a lot.

- Aloholic Drinks: USD 150. bottle of whiskey is about USD 60 - 80, Beer is USD 8 - 10, wine is USD 12 - 20.
