Costs of living in Forest Lake, MN



$800.00 House payment - two bedroom, one bath, 700 square feet living space only, for one adult and two toddlers

$207.00 Electric and Gas - Gas furnace, everything else is electric. We don't even have a computer running all the time! and this is our utility bill.

$400 to $500 per month food - depends on what my toddlers are eating.

$350.00 diapers - toddler twins.

$160.00 gas for car to and from work, hopefully not traveling to far on the weekends. Mostly stay home. We go to the grocery store, Target, or Walmart for our other needs, less food.


$ for clothes, depends if my girls grow in a month, could be $50 per month to $150 for 2 months. Depending on the season.
