Room / house: renting a room with MYR 300. House with 3 rooms will be around MYR 1200 to MYR 1700 depends on the condition. it could go up to MYR 5000 or more if you are trying to get a luxury apartment. Normally students will just rent a room and a lot of people actually renting out the house/ room for students.

Food: Bowl of noodles costs about MYR 4 and a can of Coke about MYR 1.50. A month, you can spend within MYR 500 to MYR 800 for good food. It will be cheaper if you are cooking by your own. About MYR 100 per week will be about it.

Rent RM 1700 semi detzched bungalow, utilities RM 300, Food for 4 heads RM 1500, healthcare RM 1000 per month for family very basic, dozen eggs RM 3,00, transportation own car RM 1,20/km, petrol RM 1.90/liter

the cost of a meal from a local restraunt?
the ticket for the bus for a distance of 20km?
how much is a killo of rice there?
