Rent 1300 Euros per month for a 75sqm appartment with 2 bedroom on 4 th floor with a lift. location is 30mins walk from the centre of town. On bus and tram routes into town and close to the lineate intl airport.

Pay 200 a month on a comunal charge for heating and a cleaning etc. The building has live in porter. ABout 40 Euros a monht on electricity and 20 on gas.

Food - about 60 to 80 Euros per person a week. Eating out costs minimum 25 Euros per person for a 2 course meal.

Transport - 30 Euros per month on all modesw of transport, central Milan travel pass.

Cost of living is high with taxes on most things. We have to try hard to keep costs down and generally don't save much. Note we done don't drink or smoke and don't often (once every 2 weeks) go out for food.
