€2000 per month for a 3-bedroom apartment in the city centre.

Electricity bill for this apartment is €80 per month.

GP consultation is an average €60.

A pint of beer in a pub costs about €4.80. A can of beer from a shop costs about €2.

A dozen eggs costs about €2.60.

Rent - €375 - reduced by €85 (18%) from last year, large double bedroom in 4 bedroom georgian redbrick 10 minute walk from city centre

Gas and Electricity €10 - 20 during summer, 40-50 during winter (4 ppl washing clothes!) competition between gas and electricity companies has brought prices down by 12-14% on last year

Food - €80 - €100 per month on groceries (Tesco, Lidl, farmer's markets)

Tin beans - 55c
Tin tomatoes -40c
6 free range eggs - €1.90
1 lt Low fat Milk - 0.78
