rent inr 8,000 p.m. (safety deposit inr 60,000)

utilities inr 1,500 p.m. (tv, net, electricity, milk, news paper etc.)

food inr 3,000 p.m. (depends on u actually...i'm fat anyways...hahaha!)

health inr 2000 p.m. (though it varies...including gym fees n regular checkup)

recreation inr 2,000 p.m (depends on ur socializing patterns ...again!

Default Cost of living Mumbai

Most economic living in Mumbai, India

Monthly costs

Rent: $175 per person (shared , in suburban areas)
$ 400 for 1 BHK apartment
$ 1100 for South Mumbai locations 1 BHK apartment

Transportation : $50 (public transport + some 3 wheeler)
$ 40 per day for AC taxi (100 Km)
$ 1 per 3 Km for AC Car rentals (with driver)

Utilities: $ 30 incl. water & electricity

Food: $50 per person (in house cooking, vegetarian add another $20 for Non veg)
Entertainment - $180 (eating out twice a week, drinking once a week, movies, etc)

Average restaurant - about 5$ for a meal (no drinks)

Western style Eatery - about 25$ per person (wine, 3 course meal)

McDonald meal - 5$
Sub - 6 inch - 2.2$
Bottled water - 0.25 $
Can of Coke - 0.3 $

Mobile Prepaid - 3$ per month (60 minutes local calls)
