usd electric 250.00.

water and gargage 60.00

my health insurance is covered by my job and recreation not sure don't do to much cause of the expenses. this is for a family of 5. I will be retiring in 7 years at the most it will be my wife, me and my son at the most if not just wife and I.If my son comes he will be still in school,so that would be a expense I would need to include and a phone where I can call back to the states.

MY phone bill here cost about 60.00 that includes internet.

The housing market is currently not good here, so the prices to buy a 3/2 home now are lower than they have been (about 130,000 US dollars).

Rent for the same size place is about $1100/month.

Utilities are about $100/mo for our small (1200 sq. ft.) house.

Healthcare is expensive, but larger employers generally have decent plans. Families without existing health conditions can find coverage for about $300-500 per month.

Education (public) for k-12 is free. Private and college education runs $10,000/year or more.

Recreation varies, but there are theme parks with annual passes for about $100/year per person. Movies, $10/person.

Average restaurants, $12/meal per person. It is fairly diverse racially.

Public transportation is not good, and you must have a car. That is another $10,000 minimum or $300/month or so. Then insurance is expensive in Florida in general.

Food is expensive, but we spend about $120/week on a family of 4 (two young kids) and we eat largely organic food.
