sebastian fl, we pay about $1200 per month for our mtg and that includes property tax and insurance, in fl if you live in ur home for 6 months or more u can qualify for homestead exemption tax which means you only pay about 29 % of your taxes and it is usually rolled into your mtg. this is because of the tens of thousands of northerners that travel here every winter...it gives us natives a break..

$50/mo for water and sewer,

$36/3 mo for garbage pick up 2x a week...

and then of course phone and internet. groceries for a family of 4 is about 100/ week, i have to pack the lunches. gas is now down to about 2.70/ gall but here you usually only drive about 10 min a day 5 to work and 5 home. it all depends what part of fl u want to live in ...just do your homework.
