Costs of living in Copenhagen, DENMARK


Rent: 13 000 DKK (detached house in suburb, 100 square meters, 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom)

Food: For 2 adults, approx 1000 DKK per week. No dining out - too expensive

Approx cost of restaurant meal, 2 courses plus 1 beer or glass of wine: 500 DKK/person

Transit pass: 710 DKK/month for unlimited travel up to approx 20 km radius.

Rent for 65 m2 apartment (very cheap in CPH terms) 900 euro

Utilities - Internet, Phone, Electricity - 150 euro

Food - 500 euro

Healthcare - free

Recreation - e.g. movie ticket 10 euro

15 min ride in taxi - 50 euro

Rent 7000 danish kroner (dkk) 3 br.

Utilities 1000 dkk. food 2000 dkk.

healthcare NIL.

Education NIL (but books you have to buy.)

recreation: Restaurants: simple Italian abt 500-600 dkk for 2 people with house wine. beer at pub abt 65 dkk.

movies abt 80-100 dkk per person
