Food -- We are a family of 5. We eat out very little. Grocery costs are probably between $500 and $600 per month. Current price for common groceries -- Gallon of milk --$2.25, Dozen Eggs -- $1.30, Loaf of Bread -- $2.00, 1 lbs of Apples $1.50, Chicken Breast -- $4.50/lb. The cost of a moderately priced meal for 2 (eating out) would be around $30 excluding drinks.
Recreation -- Adult Movie Ticket -- $10, Denver Zoo -- $12/adult & $7/child, Swimming Pool -- $5/adult & $2.50/child
