Hello everyone!
I'm going to be a single mother soon & my daughter is 2 years old.
I'm an American citizen raised in California, OC but for the last 10+ years I have been living in another country & have decided to move back but know nothing about anything if that makes sence!:P im 28 yrs old, my major was graphic design & im an artist, dancer, gemologist, designer (jewellery, fashion), I’ve studied ecommerce, beauty & make up, cosmetology, & my dream job is party & travel (leisure) & pursuing my art as an erotic artist (which I couldn’t here)
I have seasonal depression & can't live with out the sun! All in all I will always be a Cali girl but now what is important is the quality of life & my child's school & safety & of course not worrying about monthly incomes/salary which I’m very afraid of.
I want to live in a place where there is FUN (live, work & play) nightlife & safety, great schools (public) again safety is more important. I would love to say I want to live in a house in front of the beach but that would be dreaming!

Income from this country that will be coming to me is 2-2,5K monthly. I will be buying a home but looking for cheap homes max 300,000 (cheap means nothing in Cali

I like condo, apartment living so not looking for anything big just a safe, fun area close to shopping centers & again FUN!

) do not have a bank account yet, I don’t know the steps of owning & I don’t want to use loans, mortgages& lease I want to stay away from anything like that as much as possible

)
As I mentioned I’ve been far for so long & when I did live there, these weren’t my responsibilities.
How much does it cost monthly for a comfortable living in areas that you think is best for me?
My first choice is California west coast (from OC, SD, SF, and Long Beach). Then Florida but I have heard the schools are terrible but for an artist like me & loving the beach, sun, & fun it’s good. I have been looking for cheap places to live & some sound very nice but boring for my taste (I’m not the New York hustle & bustle type either. I always loved Cali living.)
Ok I won’t bore you much I hope I can get help soon as I want to plan fast, look for jobs & just live my dream & be me & raise a happy daughter.
Will the costs of homes go down more you think?
Please also mention insurance, tax, everything I need to know in order to do & live there.
Thank you so much ((virtual hugs))
